Life.............ugh!

It started off with congestion in my sinuses yesterday. By last night, I couldn't sleep. By today I'm pretty much knocked off my game by this darn bug. There's no way I can do justice to a post.

I did manage to get two trailer loads of horses worked today.........well, transported to work anyway. Without help from Richard and his crew I wouldn't have gotten through the ones that did work.

Vee managed to miss out on being ridden because of cinch galls. But they are getting better and her reprieve is short lived.....besides I think she truly enjoys the work. I'm pretty sure she looked at me like I'd forgotten something when I put her back into the trailer without her being ridden.

I did ride Legs, Storm and Dandy today. Couldn't tell you how the rides went because my brain is just too dull right now. The fact they got worked at all is great considering the way I feel.

Hope was ridden by Aleshia, one of Richard's crew. This is her third ride on the mare and they are doing great. If I can ever get pictures, I'll be posting. They look like they were made for each other. It's pretty darn cute.

I'm not going to post about Tag because that deserves a post of its own. This darn cold has me so out of sorts I can't even think let alone write so Tag's story will wait for another day. For now I'll say that Tag had never had any kind of preparations to get him started under saddle. It was a big day for him.

Hopefully, this cold medication will bring me some relief and I'll be back posting tomorrow as usual. In the meantime, here are a few more pictures from the open house.

  1. I feel for you. I've been down since last weekend with that awful bug that's going around. Head/chest congestion, fever, chills, headaches, sore throat, it's awful. I just can't shake it.

I hope you feel better soon!

  3. Hope you get to feeling better real soon!
I took Savannah to the doctor Monday and her allergies are out of control! Started her on some meds and she is getting better. Mine have been out of whack for about 2 weeks now. The dr. said it was due to Ike, that he blew something in and it's got everyone's allergies in a uproar!
    Love the pics!

  4. Girl, I'm going to suggest some Airborne! You seem to suffer a lot from these colds. I swear by it! I'm on an immune suppressing drug for my MS and I don't get sick. If I even think I may have been exposed or starting to feel one come on, I start taking Airborne. It works like a charm. Hope you feel better soon!
