Sorry I thought Dave had post for me days ago but since that's not the case I thought I should at least give you some idea things here. My body hasn't been reponding any better to this surgery than it did tothe first one way back in June. I had a pretty severe reation to anything take by mouth and had to have a NG tube inserted to deal with the mess in my gastric tract.
Those tubes are only made in a one size fits all kind of thing meaning my litle throat did not take kindly to the invasion of that tube. I had problems with 3 very uncomforable presure point, one just inide the nostril, one at the top of my simu cavity and one at the opening betwen my mouth and nose. Swallowing was and still is difficult. talking nearly impossible and sleeping pretty much out of the question. I did push those limits but it was painful.
the tube was removed last evening and I am supposed to be on liquid today but the doc forgot to write the order. It looks like we're back on tract, at least for now. In the meatime I'm dying of boredom. At this rate I'd guess they might be done with me sometime by the end of the week.
Having issues with my eyes again and I'm not sure what to do. if anyone has thoughts on what might help might eyes cope with all this chaos, I sure would love to know. In the meantime, I'll be skipping the spel check and other option that strai y already watering eyes.

You poor thing! I've never had to have the NG (no good!) tube, but I understand they are uncomfortable in the best of circumstances.

It's good to hear from you, was starting to wonder. Don't worry about the spelling-that's the least of your worries; just heal up and get back to normal.

I'm so sorry you're still in poor health. I'll keep praying for you to get home soon and back to your horses. Take your time, we want you back for good around here.
