  1. I was thinking parachute as in big, lol. That parachute appears to be as big as the average tarp.

Still it's pretty amazing given the horse's reputation before hand. :)

  3. I doubt I would've been as brave to do that...even my 8y.o boy wouldn't put up with that and he's been broken in since he was 3!

  5. That is awesome. My filly Lori is very hyper and thinks everything is a boogie man intent of pouncing on her and eating her yet when I was working with her the one day, I spread a blue tarp on the ground in the roundpen expecting her to have a hissy fit, but Nooooooo she just walked straight over it like she had been doing it all her life! She still hates the camera when I use the flash, most of my pictures of her with flash she has her head thrown up mane flying and eyes popping out LOL, and I have been taking pics of hers from when she was a few weeks old.

Kids and horses they will always show us up and make liars out of us LOL.

Looking forward to more updates on this clinic.

  7. Very cool! Good looking colt!

I think I need one of those! I did paint my tarp different colors and it hasn't bothered our horses.

  8. The single spookiest item we've ever introduced to our horses was a black and white "cow print" throw. They would work with it when we asked (walking on it, jumping it on a small jump, wearing it, etc.) but then out of the blue they'd pass it by in the arena and spook at it.

At some point I wondered if the pattern of the blanket was just too much like our painted pony, and seeing it flat and lifeless (like a skin?) was just too weird for them.
