More of Life's Interference
I know I'm supposed to be finishing up my series on Rachel and Grandma and Arabian Horses - Jesse Saldana Clinic however, life has thrown one of its little twists of fate into the mix.
The picture above is pretty darn blurry but the blur definitely shows the intensity of the moment. It was the first part of a pretty nasty fall. One of three that I took before it was done. I am very bruised, stiff and sore and hopefully a lot wiser. My helmet is toast. I have a badly bruised leg and am feeling pretty miserable so I will post details later.

I know that you were thankful that you were wearing your helmet! Better the helmet than your head!! I take it that the horse is okay because you didn't mention any problem there.
ReplyDeleteI have not forgotten about interviewing you for BLOG VILLAGE.
I too have had some of "Life's Interferences" and will pick up on those interviews after the first of the year.
Have a peaceful week ahead...
Oh dear that does look very intense. Sounds like you won though. Sometimes you have to wonder at the lengths you will go to, to not let your horse win eh. Is the naughty horse Scandalous Reflection?
ReplyDelete((HUGS!!)) Hope you heal up quickly and are back in the saddle soon!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. I'm very happy to hear that you were wearing a helmet, falls like what it appears to be can be very very bad without one.
ReplyDeleteTry some anica (sp?) gel on those bruises. It works wonders. Get some rest, we can all wait until you feel better for another post.
I hope you are okay and recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, three falls in one day? You are a stronger woman than I. I hope you are taking it easy and taking care of yourself today.
ReplyDeleteYikes! I agree with Janey - good thing you were wearing your helmet. I didn't used to wear one but since I became a mom I thought I should always wear one, and I have.
ReplyDeleteI've seen pictures of you riding on your blog without a helmet and it makes me nervous. Rachel too!
Do take care of yourself, and feel better soon.
Dude! If you came off three times that means you did indeed get back up and try again.
ReplyDeleteSoreness at our age is not cute soreness. I'm sorry you are hurting.
Wow ... ! That's scary stuff ! So glad you had on a helmet !
ReplyDeleteOM Gosh MiKael I dont visit for a day or so and this is what you get up to!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling a bit better, that looks scary (((Hugs)))
